On May 23rd, 2025, La French Tech Taiwan made its long-awaited return to Kaohsiung, hosting a warm and informal networking evening at Second Space Co-Working. This gathering marked an exciting step toward reconnecting with the vibrant innovation ecosystem of Southern Taiwan.
With around twenty participants, the event brought together a diverse and dynamic crowd of entrepreneurs, freelancers, creatives, and tech enthusiasts from France, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, and beyond. The room buzzed with energy as attendees exchanged ideas, shared experiences, and explored potential collaborations in a relaxed and open atmosphere.
Beyond the networking, the evening served as a chance to (re)introduce La French Tech Taiwan to both familiar faces and newcomers in the region. We shared our mission: to build bridges between France and Taiwan’s tech and startup ecosystems, support founders and innovators, and foster international collaboration. The response from the community was incredibly encouraging, with many expressing enthusiasm for future events and deeper involvement.
Kaohsiung has always held a special place in the French Tech Taiwan story, and this meetup was a powerful reminder of the strength, creativity, and international spirit that exists in the South. We left feeling energized by the conversations and grateful for the reconnections — proof that even small-scale gatherings can spark meaningful momentum.
